EverRoof artificial green roof system has played a key role in restoring Tipperary’s Cashel Palace to its former glory.
Mulcahy Construction has restored the hotel, its buildings and landscapes, which were reopened in March this year, its interiors upgraded with a nod to their original splendour.
And the rooftops of the six manor buildings have been transformed from grey to rich green after EverRoof installed 1,000 m2 of EVR1 artificial green roof system. The EVR1 is a uniquely classified fire- and wind-tested system which creates an appealing, and safety-conscious, visual statement.
The project architect at Mulcahy contacted EverRoof, part of the Evergreens UK Group. After requesting samples, reviewing comprehensive system information, its safety features and the quote provided, a site inspection was conducted.
A seven-strong team and six-day project, work and deliveries were scheduled carefully to fit the overall construction programme.
Delighted with the end result, performance and system durability, both contractor and hotel owner are pleased to have a more attractive aerial view, replacing the industrial look with a fine vibrant green flourish to this luxury hotel and spa.

There was a clear vision, plan and great communications; ordering, delivery, installation was all A1. It was great to have such contractor confidence.
