For decades at AXTER, we’ve been dedicated to designing and building flat roofs that are waterproof and durable. Although, in a world that is living with the negative consequences of its broken relationship with nature, we know they need to be so much more.
So we’re pioneering the Roof Revolution; an exciting initiative striving to leave a lasting legacy of good on our built environments and the communities living within them.
We want to improve the places where we live and work by unlocking the potential of our flat roof spaces. We want nature-based solutions to be implemented within all new and retro-fit construction projects. We want our urban roofs to reconnect with nature, improve health and wellbeing, tackle climate change and help prevent urban biodiversity loss.
Roof Revolution is a resource hub and exhibition space, where we seek to inspire visitors through carefully curated video, news and resources from across the world.
Launched with the support of our founding champions—NFRC, the BBA, SPRA, LRWA, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and Livingroofs.org—and through our shared vision and extensive expertise, we believe we can impact change and solve global problems, deployed locally.
This is a revolution for everyone, and we want you to join. We all have the opportunity to improve our urban environments for good.
