Teampoint Joins the NFRC as Roofing Firms Push for Clearer Digital Workflows

4 mins

Teampoint, a new NFRC Supplier member, is offering members a discounted price for its operations platform—a digital tool that helps roofing businesses manage on-site jobs, compliance, and communications more efficiently, reducing admin pressures and speeding up payments.

Roofing businesses are under constant pressure to balance tight margins, unpredictable weather, and demanding compliance requirements. Many firms are now seeking tools that simplify scheduling, track compliance, and reduce administrative burdens rather than add to the workload. It is this need for more efficient day-to-day operations that has driven Teampoint’s decision to join the NFRC and offer members a streamlined solution for managing their work.

Since 2011, Shrewsbury-based Teampoint has supported field service companies across the UK with scheduling, job tracking, and communication tools. With a 100% customer retention rate, the platform has been adopted across industries including plumbing and drainage, building maintenance, facilities management, and utilities, giving the team deep insight into best practice and efficient processes. As roofing firms increasingly move toward structured digital workflows, the need for a central, reliable platform has grown.

Teampoint recognises that the challenges facing the roofing industry—complex scheduling, compliance requirements, scattered paperwork—are exactly the problems its software is designed to solve.

Discounted Access for NFRC Members

All NFRC members can benefit from a one-third reduction on setup fees, with the usual £3,000 fee reduced to £2,000, along with 20% off monthly licences. Licences that normally
cost £50 per user per month are now available to members for £40.

The setup covers everything needed to get your business fully operational on Teampoint, including: configuring company profiles and user permissions; importing existing customer, supplier, and job data; customising templates and forms for RAMS, inspections, and handovers; integrating with existing systems where relevant; and providing training for office teams and field crews.

Trial runs and support ensure the platform is ready to use from day one, tailored to your workflows, compliance needs, and reporting requirements.

Pilot Scheme for Roofing Companies

In addition, Teampoint is in the process of looking for the right three roofing companies to take part in an exclusive pilot. These businesses will receive a completely free setup and the opportunity to work closely with the Teampoint team to shape new features and integrations tailored to their operations. Pilot participants will also benefit from the reduced licence fee of £40 per user per month.

Teampoint will be presenting the pilot across NFRC regions throughout 2026, giving interested contractors the chance to learn more and apply. The scheme is designed for businesses that want to tailor the platform to their workflows while helping create solutions that could ultimately benefit the wider roofing industry.

Teampoint responds to customers, developing genuinely useful software tools.

Pilot Scheme: Potential New Tools for Roofing Contractors

While Teampoint’s platform already supports many core needs—job tracking, compliance, materials management, and handovers—the pilot scheme offers the chance to refine and
expand its capabilities specifically for roofing. Working closely with the three selected companies, Teampoint will explore enhancements such as advanced Work at Height safety and compliance workflows, integrated solar PV and insulation checklists, smarter retention and payment tracking, automated snagging and defect reporting, and improved documentation for inspections, handovers, and the Golden Thread

There are many avenues to explore. Feedback from real-world projects will guide the development of new
templates, integrations, and features, helping create a platform that addresses the sector’s unique challenges while improving efficiency, safety, and growth opportunities for roofing businesses.

Making the Switch Simple

Switching to a digital system can feel daunting, especially for businesses used to spreadsheets, paper forms, and multiple apps. Teampoint helps manage this change with a personalised onboarding service that guides every team member through the process. From configuring the platform to match your workflows, to importing data and customising templates, the Teampoint
team works alongside you every step of the way. Training is hands-on and tailored to each role, so field crews, office staff, and managers quickly learn how to use the system in real-world conditions. The result is a platform that doesn’t just digitise tasks—it simplifies them, saving time, reducing errors, and making job management easier for everyone in the business.

Supporting Growth

Companies using Teampoint don’t just streamline day-to-day operations—they also reduce barriers to growth. By centralising job management, compliance, and financial tracking, businesses gain the visibility and control needed to take on more work confidently, scale teams efficiently, and make informed decisions. Every Teampoint customer has access to KPI dashboards to monitor performance and track progress- the graphs illustrated in this article are anonymised examples from a real customer—representative of the kind of growth Teampoint users typically experience.

A Clear Route Forward for Roofing Contractors

Moving to a digital system can feel like a big step, but Teampoint makes it straightforward. For roofing contractors, the platform is ready to use from day one, helping teams work more efficiently, coordinate crews, track progress, manage materials, and meet compliance requirements—all in one place. NFRC members can take advantage of discounted setup and licence fees to get started immediately.

Separately, Teampoint is running a pilot scheme for three roofing companies, giving them the chance to work closely with the team to develop new features and integrations tailored to their operations. This is for ambitious firms who want to help shape the platform further—but the system as it stands already delivers real improvements for everyday roofing work.

Teampoint founder Leon Cottell is looking forward to meeting many NFRC members throughout 2026. If your company would like to be involved in the pilot project or find out more about Teampoint please email directly at rosie@teampoint.app
