North West Aluminium (NWA) has announced the appointment of Steven Nairn as Commercial Project Manager for its GutterClad brand.
This new role will allow the company to enhance further its offering to larger building contractors, roofers and aluminium rainwater installers.
In recent years the company has grown from an established aluminium roofing accessory manufacturer in Ireland and the UK under its brand Kytun Dry Roofing Products, to now also offering a full aluminium rainwater product range for both self-build and commercial projects.
Under the GutterClad brand, NWA designs and manufactures standard aluminium products including gutters, downpipes, fascia, soffit, window sills, standing seam, cappings and various bespoke aluminium products.
With research and development (R&D) and new product innovation as a key driver, the company has committed to further product development for the commercial market in 2021.
Steven originally joined the company in 2019, having been in the construction sales sector for a number of years. A qualified joiner and project manager, Steven has over 15 years’ experience on the tools and brings extensive knowledge to the new role.
New training facility
North West Aluminium is opening a new training facility for its brands Kytun Dry Roofing and GutterClad in the summer of 2021.
This facility will be designed to give both domestic and commercial roofers and installers hands-on training directly from the manufacture.
Technical Manager Hugh Harkin sees the benefits of the expansion as being a win-win for NWA.
