“Insurers are inundated with enquiries that lack real technical information, business rationale and content. They require a level of commitment from the submitting broker; without any of this, the result is either a simple ‘no quote’ due to resource, or the terms provided are not the best achievable.”

He went on to explain that their role as a broker is to obtain the best proposal for members by advising what key detail is required and why insurers request levels of commitment to achieve this. 

He continued:
