FULL RESTORATION EXECUTED TO HIGHEST HISTORIC STANDARD
EAST MANLEY HALL is a large country house set in the West Cheshire village of Manley.
Following poor renovations in recent years and in desperate need of repair, the hall had some interesting details such as large overhanging gables, flat lead eaves, gutters, and a central valley gutter. The six individual roof slopes all contained different sizes and types of slate, each one requiring a different specialisation which included diminishing random Welsh tonne slates, queens imperial random slates and tally slates.
A great example of specialist craft knowledge being put to use.
