This high-end refurbishment of a City of London commercial block in the shadow of the Walkie Talkie building, included the installation of decking for a roof terrace.
Complexity
The installation was carried out on an inverted roof. The contractor laid down a double layer of our aluminium frame onto heavy-duty adjustable Wallbarn MegaPad pedestals, which provided a stable footing for the framework. They then laid composite Moor Oak boards onto the aluminium frame, simply stamping the boards into position.
Workmanship
Installers were able to achieve a superior, natural finish with clean lines by accurately cutting the boards to fit neatly to edges and corners. It took five men 10 working days to complete the full 350 m² roof deck.
