A range of products from Alumasc Water Management Solutions has been specified for a stylish and complex property conversion deep in the heart of rural Northamptonshire.
Willow Bank was originally part of the 1960s Ideal Homes exhibition and its conversion involved an extension of the existing property, to transform it into a contemporary five-bedroom home.
The unique project incorporated several products from the Skyline Architectural Aluminium range: coping, fascia, soffits, a range of Rainwater products including AX gutters and swaged downpipes, and a bespoke chimney cap.
James Cockburn, Architectural Technologist from The Harris Partnership, specified Alumasc for the project. He said: “The client also wanted to create a feature of the chimney. Once we met Alumasc on site to show them the complex form and discuss the intentions, it was clear that the client’s vision could be achieved. Keeping all elements with one company made it so much easier, which is why we chose Alumasc.”
The Skyline Architectural Aluminium and Aluminium Rainwater ranges are available in a unique range of profiles and finishes. Made-to-order options are also available, making the range suitable for traditional and modern buildings. All products within the Skyline and Rainwater ranges benefit from Alumasc’s BBA-approved polyester powder coating process.
